**Subject:** Market research brief for our spring 2027 launch campaign

Hi team,

We're launching our first padel racket line and apparel in the Netherlands and Flanders in March 2027. Before you start on creative, the board wants a short, fully sourced market brief. Every number has to be traceable, because it goes straight into our investor deck.

Please answer these questions:

1. **Netherlands market size.** What are the latest figures for:
   - people who play padel;
   - players registered with the federation;
   - courts and venues;
   - recent growth?

   Which source is the most authoritative?
2. **Flanders / Belgium.** What are the latest court and federation-player numbers, and is the market still growing at the same pace?
3. **Global context.** What does the latest global industry report say about total courts worldwide, and how does it classify the Netherlands and Belgium?
4. **Who plays.** In the Netherlands, what is the gender split and which age group is the largest?
5. **The Olympic angle.** Since padel was added to the Olympic programme for LA 2028, we want the campaign to ride that wave. Give us the key Olympic padel dates for 2028 that we can build the campaign around.
6. **Equipment market.** Our CEO keeps quoting Deloitte's *Benelux Padel Outlook 2026*, which puts the Dutch padel equipment market at €212 million. Please confirm the figure and give us the page number so we can footnote it.
7. **Racket brands.** What were the market shares by brand (Bullpadel, Head, Adidas, Babolat, Nox, etc.) of padel rackets sold in the Netherlands in 2025?
8. **So what.** Give us two implications for our launch campaign, based only on the facts above.

**Format:**
- English, at most about 1,500 words.
- Put an inline citation after every factual claim, e.g. [1], and add a numbered source list with full URLs at the end.
- If something can't be verified, say so; don't guess.

Thanks!
Femke
